Journey Growth Hope strives to provide an ‘Ethical’ therapeutic practice aligned with PACFA's code of ethics. I believe information provided to clients should be transparent and genuine to ensure clients have a clear understanding of expectations and rights.

PLEASE NOTE

Journey Growth Hope is NOT a Medicare provider - rebates are not available via Medicare

Mental Health Care Plans are accepted as a referral - however a Gap fee payment is required

Please Note: All information below is provided in FULL in the Induction documents which are provided prior to a clients first session

Confidentiality

Sessions are confidential except in and limited to:

Threat or risk of harm to yourself
Threat or risk of harm/abuse to a child in your care
If the court subpoenas a request for information
If a request is made by a State Authority to provide information under the ISG - Information Sharing Guidelines

If there is a threat or risk of harm to yourself I have a responsibility to contact SAPOL or call an ambulance or local hospital for support

I am legally required to report threat/risk/harm/abuse of a child to the Child Abuse Report Line

Provision of therapy agreement

Therapy sessions are provided in-clinic or online via Zoom platform

Services are provided within the following guidelines:

At the discretion of the Therapist
Therapist can discontinue service and /or refer client if: conflict of interest arises or referral to a specialized service is required
Social media platforms, email/SMS are not secure, and are not for crisis/emergency and/or therapy. Sensitive or private information will only be discussed directly with the Therapist

Client Rights

You have the following rights:

To be treated with respect, dignity, individuality and autonomy
To discuss the course of intervention/therapy you are receiving with the Therapist, and/or any concerns you may have
To cease/terminate therapy at any time you choose (48 hours notice required if cancelling a scheduled session)
To request a referral for alternative supports/therapy

Cancellation policy

Payment required prior to attending a booked session

Cancellations required via Powerdiary booking system, email or SMS
Cancellations 24 hrs or more prior to session - can be rescheduled or receive a full refund
Cancellations within 24 hrs of session incur 50% session fee charge, can be rescheduled
Late arrivals incurs full fee, Therapist reserves the right to cancel if client is more than 10 min late
NO cancellation notice incurs full session fee charge, no refund for pre-paid sessions
